Job overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate and possess a strong understanding of various digital platforms and tools. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various channels such as social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and content marketing.
  • Create engaging and compelling content for digital platforms, including website, blog, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions to optimise performance.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and sales to ensure alignment and consistency across all digital marketing efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in digital marketing, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Manage digital marketing budgets effectively, ensuring maximum return on investment (ROI) and cost-efficiency.
  • Identify and implement innovative digital marketing strategies and tactics to stay ahead of the competition and drive business growth.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to management on the performance and progress of digital marketing initiatives.

Desired qualifications and attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Digital Marketing Specialist or in a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices, including SEO, PPC, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager, and WordPress.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse results, and make data-driven decisions to optimise campaign performance.
  • Creative thinker with strong writing and communication skills, capable of creating engaging and persuasive content for digital channels.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills, able to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing are a plus.
